Las Vegas vacation packages bundle a hotel stay with extras such as airfare, show tickets, dining credit or waived resort fees. To judge one, compare the total price with nightly resort fees included, check whether your nights fall Sunday to Thursday, and list what is actually covered. World Sky members book the same pieces at member rates.
The Strip · nightNight is when most visitors are out, so a hotel close to the shows you want saves rides and time.
Search for Las Vegas vacation packages and you get a wall of offers that all look cheap. Some really are good deals. Others hide the real cost in daily resort fees, weekend surcharges, or a sales presentation you only learn about after you pay. This guide shows you how to read a Vegas package the way a local would.
World Sky Travel Club is based in Las Vegas, in the Centennial Hills area of the northwest valley, so this city is home turf. Below you will find what packages usually include, what "all-inclusive" means here, how to compare deals, and how a membership handles the same trip.
A Las Vegas vacation package is a hotel stay sold together with one or more extras. The extras change from seller to seller, but they usually come from this list:
Who sells the package matters as much as what is in it. Airlines, online travel agencies, warehouse clubs, hotels and resort developers all sell Vegas packages, and each one makes money in a different way. The table shows the main types side by side.
| Package type | What's usually included | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Airline vacation package | Flight plus hotel, sometimes a car | Flight times, bag fees, and whether the resort fee is in the total |
| Online travel agency bundle | Flight plus hotel from a large list | Change and cancellation rules for each piece of the trip |
| Hotel direct package | Room plus credits, show tickets or parking | Blackout dates, credit rules, and weekend pricing |
| Resort preview package | A low headline price for a short stay | Whether you must attend a sales presentation, and for how long |
| Travel club membership | Member rates on hotels, flights, cars, parks and tours, booked in one place | Monthly dues, what they cover, and whether prices are guaranteed |

Offer termsNot in the way most people picture. In Cancun or Punta Cana, an all-inclusive resort puts meals, drinks and activities into one nightly price. Las Vegas hotels almost never work that way. Their business is built around restaurants, bars and shows you pay for one at a time.
So when you see Las Vegas vacation packages all inclusive or "Las Vegas travel deals all inclusive," read the fine print. Those offers usually mean a room plus a bundle: a food and drink credit, drinks at select venues, a show ticket, or a waived resort fee. That can still be a good deal. Just price the bundle against what you would really spend.
If you want a true all-inclusive trip, the beach is where they live. See our guides to Punta Cana all-inclusive resorts and Cancun all-inclusive resorts.
A cheap Las Vegas vacation package is only cheap if the total holds up. Deal these five cards before you book anything:
The fee rule works in your favor now. The Federal Trade Commission's Rule on Unfair or Deceptive Fees requires hotels and short-term rentals to show a total price that includes mandatory fees, such as resort fees. Use that total to compare offers side by side.
Most Vegas visitors fly in, so Las Vegas vacation packages with airfare are the most common kind. The popular 4 day 3 night Las Vegas vacation package with flight is a good length for a first trip: three nights gives you two full days, which is enough for a show, a pool day and a night downtown.
A bundle wins when the combined price beats the flight and hotel booked on their own, and when the flight times give you real time in town. An early arrival and a late departure can turn a 3-night trip into almost four full days.
Building your own wins when you want a specific hotel, a longer stay, or a car for day trips. It also wins when you travel more than once a year. That is where a travel club comes in: World Sky members get member pricing on airfare for two adults or the whole family, member rates on rental cars, and member rates at 4,000+ resorts and hotels in 100+ countries, all in one place.
You will land at Harry Reid International Airport, which sits close to the south end of the Strip. Check the airport's site for terminal and ground transportation details before you choose between a transfer, a rideshare and a rental car.
The best Las Vegas vacation packages line up with the calendar. Las Vegas is in the Mojave Desert. Summer days regularly top 100°F, so pool season is long, but walking the Strip at noon is hard work. Spring and fall are usually the most comfortable months to be outside. Winter brings cool nights and, often, lower midweek rates outside the holidays.
If you plan to see more than the Strip, add a car for a day. Red Rock Canyon is on the west edge of the valley, and Hoover Dam is an easy day trip to the southeast. Guided tours at member pricing are another option if you would rather not drive.
Vegas works well for two. Las Vegas vacation packages for couples tend to add a show for two, a dinner credit or a late checkout. When you compare them, ask what the extras would cost on their own. A dinner credit you would use anyway is worth more than a show you would skip.
The World Sky guest trip is built for couples too: it is valid for two adults over 21. Here is how one member described their plans:
"Our experience with Reggie was great. He made us feel absolutely comfortable and explained everything that we needed to know to the T. We are looking forward to our next vacation to Vegas later this year for Christmas!"

World Sky Travel Club, LLC is a travel club, so it sells a membership, not a one-off package. Members pay low, fixed monthly dues, with no escalating maintenance fees, no assessments and no points to chase. If you are weighing that against a timeshare, read vacation club vs timeshare.
The bonus trip is where a Vegas stay turns into a second vacation. The list covers 30 places, from Orlando and Miami to Oahu, Cancun, Los Cabos and San Diego. If Orlando is on your list, our Orlando vacation packages guide covers theme park trips the same way this page covers Vegas.
"Fast reservations. Great price and savings!"
"It was a wonderful experience. Actually quite fun. We went with the Platinum package. Tracy did a great job explaining everything to us."

Not in the Caribbean sense. Las Vegas hotels rarely include every meal and drink in the room price. Packages sold as all-inclusive usually mean a room plus bundled add-ons such as meal credits, drinks at select venues or show tickets. For true all-inclusive resorts, look at Mexico or the Caribbean.
Stay Sunday to Thursday, compare the total price with resort fees included, avoid big convention and holiday weekends, and check whether a low price depends on attending a sales presentation. A travel club membership lets you book hotels, flights and cars at member rates.
It can be, if the bundle price beats booking the same flight and hotel separately and the flight times give you full days in town. Price the two pieces on their own first, then compare.
Some do and some do not. Many Las Vegas hotels charge a daily resort fee. Under the FTC rule on unfair or deceptive fees, hotels must show a total price that includes mandatory fees, so compare total prices, not nightly rates.
